Sub-Total / Total / Grand Total Help Needed

I have a list of multiple employees with several individauls charges grouped by type. I will need to sub-total each charge type by employee then total each employee charges with a grand total at the bottom. I think I have lost my brain that i can not do this today!

If your data is already sorted then you can use Data | Subtotals - just work through the Wizard identifying which columns you want to use (i.e. for each change in XXX) and which columns you want to add (other functions are available) and it will automatically be produced for you.

I have done that but need the following: individaul subtotals for john smith - fee, fuels and monthly lease then a grand total so i would need about 4 totals per person then the final total at the bottom

Yes, but you apply it twice

1 - For each change in Name, SUM, Cost_column
2 - For each change in (Column F ??), Cost_column

It has been years since I used that feature, so I've forgotten most of the details - you might have to apply them the other way round.
