how to convert all caps for combination text and number?

hi everyone..
i have few cells combination text and number that need to convert to all caps for each text letter

for eg:

gnc0104698 - convert to : GNC0104698
gnc0104699 - convert to :GNC0104699
gw0125242 - convert to : GW0125242
gnc0104700 - convert to :GNC0104700
gnc0104701 - convert to :GNC0104701
gnc0104702 - convert to :GNC0104702

The maximum "number" after the code (text) must have 7 digits i have almost 4000 cells to convert! please help !

Hi,

try using Upper().

A1: gnc0104698
B1: =UPPER(A1)

That should give you GNC0104698 in B1.

How?
New quick method:
Select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Solved. To undo, select Thread Tools-> Mark thread as Unsolved.

Or you can use this way:

How to mark a thread Solved
Go to the first post
Click edit
Click Go Advanced
Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
Change to Solved
Click Save
