I am a noob so this is probably not a big deal for some of the more experienced users. I hope I have the example attached right.

Hi phoodieman,
Welcome to the Forum.
Unfortunately your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.
Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
(This thread should receive no further responses until this moderation request is fulfilled, as per Forum Rule 7)
Regards

Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want to be talked to.
Respect is earned NOT given.
Hi and welcome to the forum
While fixing your title, please upload a sample of your workbook, not a picture of your data.
Pictures are pretty much impossible to edit, and no-one wants to re-type your data for you
Also, not all members can upload picture files (Company firewalls and stuff)
Your workbook should show a small desensitized example of the data you are working with and a manual mockup of the expected results.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

I use Open Office. It looks like your forum doesn't support that. I should try elsewhere I guess. May be the problem is too simple for you to address.
Phoodieman
The complexity of your problem is not the issue, nor is the platform you are using. We have rules for various things in this forum, they are there for everyone's benefit, and everyone is expected to comply with them.
We are here to try and help members, but we expect members to help us to help them. Many members use thread titles in searches, but I doubt anyone would do a search for "Simple Spreadsheet Formula"
Also, as I said, pics are hard to work with, and not all members can open them - hence my request for a workbook
Thank you then. When I attempt to upload the Open Office file it does not show up to be selected to up load. How can I resolve this problem?

What is the extention of the file?
(and by the way, either change your title as explained in post #2, or explain what you are trying to do, and I can change it for you)
I have changed the original title per your request. The file extension is .ods Thank you for your help.

When you go to the download window, at the top right corner, you will seea small blue circle with a question mark in it, clicking that will tell you the extentions allowed. Maybe zip your file and upload it that way?
This is too complicated. I will not bother your forum any more. Thanks for trying...
Phoodieman
making a zip file is not that complicated. How about if you try and explain what you are trying to do, instead?
