Mail Merge multiple rows in excel to one sheet for reviews

So Im working on a project where I want to take the reviews from our employees and put them on letters and email them out. Every employee has 1-4 reviews and multiple questions answered for each- normal mail merge would send someone 4 letters with the review info & I'd love to have it all pulled into one. I made a fake one & attached below. I've tried a couple of formulas I've seen online but none of them have worked.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi vtfool

The problem you have is that for mailmerge to work, the data for an individual person needs to be on one row.

I have written a macro to do this. To run it hold down CTRL + shift and press Q. To see the macro hold down Alt and press F8 > Step into.

Note that if you have not used macros before, it may be necessary to adjust the macro security level. Not sure where this is in 2013, but in Excel 2010 it is File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center settings > Macro settings. (Perhaps you will let me know if it is the same in 2013?)

Note that the macro will crash if you have more than 4 entries per employee (This can be allowed for, if necessary).

Having run the macro, the mail merge can then be run.

Let me know how you get on.

    Regards
    Alastair
