Excel 2007 converting columns to individual folders

I have a list of clients on column A and I would like to take them and convert them to individual folders, so that i may put scanned docs in the folders without having to create a folder individually for each client. anyone know an easy way to do this?

    Welcome to the board!

Do you mean File Folder, as in subdirectory? Or do you mean adding a Sheet with each client's name?

Please Login or Register to view this content.
    That's the VBS code
you will want to change strFolders to the directory you want the folders
just but the user names in the first column, if you want subfolders, put the names in column 2, 3, 4, ext.

I haven't figured out how to auto make the permissions for the individual user yet so the folders are only usable by the user that runs the script
