This Site is Disappointing Me BIG TIME!!!

I'm a beginner-intermediate in excel. I want to further my understanding of excel in the area of vlookup, macros and pivot tables. But the problem is this site doesnt help. For example, when I searched for vlookup in the tutorial section, I read about problems a bit too advanced for me, in some circumstances, ones that require know-how of vba.

I want to work with this site. But so far, its disappointing. I strongly feel that this is not a site for beginners. If someone can help me change my point of view, I ask that you please help me. For example, in terms of vlookup, can someone show me what posts to read on that shows a progression of difficulty; like, say a post on simple vlookup. From there, vlookup using a table from another wookbook. Then a vlookup with an IF criteria.. etc.

I don't mean to sound angry, but I really am. Looking forward to your answers. Thanks.
