    IF THEN and VLOOKUPS Together

I am trying to use a VLOOKUP from one spreadsheet to the other, but put in an IF THEN statement first. Maybe I am using the wrong function.

I want to use Spreadsheet A to call variable X to look up in Spreadsheet B, and then use row [10] for that figure (straightforward VLOOKUP)
However, I want to only use the numbers that in row [9] say the word BRICK.

Attached for reference. HIGHLIGHTED in YELLOW what I am referencing above.

IS there a way to combine the two or is there a different function I want to use?

    Thanks!

This is perfect. So I understand for future - concetenate can also be to merge formulas not just cells?

Re: IF THEN and VLOOKUPS Together

All I'm doing is concatenation cells (not formulas) to use the joined cell as the lookup. It's a way of making the multiple option a unique option by adding the second (or more if you want) conditions
