Move data from pivottable looks like sheet to another sheet

    Hi All,

Before writing up this thread, i spend time to search solution on this forum but but failed to find it. As always, wondering can anyone help me again.

I have a report which looks like a pivot table. This is downloaded from company intranet. This report can group and ungroup using + or - in the left hand side.

What i would like is to transfer/ move data by from "downloaded report" to a separate workbook or new spreadsheet "sample required report" by ignoring blanks, re-arranging cell into to a tabular form.

Please see the attached file tab "downloaded report" which i need to transfer/move data to looks like "sample required report".

The reason of doing this exercise is because these need to be linked with many other spreadsheet for recording data by the operator.

Sorry if my explanation is too vague.

    Regards

    Sha

    Dear Watersev,

I have no words to say Thank you. This is absolutely what I need. I should be closing this thread as it solved my problem but a quick question. sorry I may sound like greedy.

Considering scenario that the report is generated from the company intranet, Can we put this code into a file called "Intermediate file". When we open this Intermediate file, it let us browse the required downloaded excel file, then allow us to save the above sample report to our desired folder.

Will it involve a lot of changes?

    Regards
