    Re: Look UP Formula

    Highlight cellB2:B13 on your result sheet.
    Type =TRANSPOSE( then go to the other sheet at highlight A2:L2 put in the trailing ) and then hit. Control + Shift + Enter, not just the normal enter.

    =TRANSPOSE('Look UP Data'!A2:L2)

    The formula will appear the same in all the cells, this is an array formula.
    If you want just the data you can copy all the cells with the formulas and paste special back onto themselves with the values selection and you will have the data and the formula will be gone.

    Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Do not crosspost your question on multiple forums without including links here to the other threads on other forums.

    Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

    Expect cross-posted questions without a link to be closed and a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us to help you!

    Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).

    Re: Look UP Formula

    Sorry about the cross post debraj. I'll take not of it.

    I had to reopen this, as I found that the formula was not referencing to the Rows 1, 3,4 etc of the Lookup Data, which is now giving wrong results.

    Please help advise

    Re: Look UP Formula

    Sorry
    I Think that The Heading for all rows were same but i am wrong.

    Try
    B2=INDEX('Look UP Data'!$1:$16,COLUMNS($B2:B2)*2,MATCH($A2,INDEX('Look UP Data'!$1:$16,COLUMNS($B2:B2)*2-1,),0))
    and copy across
