    Conditional formatting

    Hi All,
I have very wide excel data base of 40 columns and more than 500 rows.
This data base changing ones on two weeks. I would like to show the cells that have been changed by using conditional formatting.

I summarized a bit of this excel in sheet 1 and would like to show the highlighted yellow cells in sheet 2.

    Thanks of the help!

    Hi,

I guess you will not find any option for this on "Conditional Formatting". However, can you not use "Track Changes" under "Review"?

    Re: Conditional formatting

Track Changes is about the only thing that you can do with the way that your data is set up. The error message that you are getting is likely to do with a setting in the Trust Center that is found in the Excel Options. Once that is taken care of, there are a few options to choose from including date period and others.

    Thanks!
If i send this file, the track changes disappears...
do the receiver needs to define the track changes after he saves the file?
    Thanks!

    Re: Conditional formatting

Lookup Track Changes in the help file. There is a very good (too long to post here) description of what to do when sharing and tracking changes.
