I would like to past a new worksheet into an existing workbook. The objective is the replace an existing worksheet with this new worksheet. Is there a way to use find/replace to have any formula references to the prior worksheet point to the new worksheet. Using Excel 2013 in Windows 7 Professional. Is it better to just paste one worksheet over the other?
You can find&replace fairly easy but you need to make sure that the find is very specific so you dont break anything else.

Using F/R with formulas can be tricky. I have found that sometimes, the best way is to first "unformula" them...Find = Replace @ (just to make the formulas not formulas now) Then find/Replace what you need to to, then reverse the Find @ Replace =
Make a backup of your file 1st, in case it all goes wrong
