    Finding Duplicates

    Finding Duplicates:

I have two sets of data below. If I wanted to find 12.62 7562421 which is duplicate in the first set how would I do this? The bottom list is what I am being told is duplicate. The top list is the file I am triyng to find the duplicates. I have a much larger problem, but I figured this would be a good example.

    Dollar Invoice
    12.62 7562421
    12.62 7562421
    9.4 4452342
    4.5 545678
    7.42 345678
    12.62 567844
    2.20 567545
    5.70 4234543
    4.60 212345
    77.50 124678
    4.20 3456789

    Dollar Invoice
    12.62 7562421
    12.62 7561678
    17.95 7562110
    12.62 7562110
    12.62 7562119
    24.64 7561991

    Re: dd

Would you also edit and add a meaningful title as per the forum rules.

    Re: Finding Duplicates

A quick way to find all duplicates is with Conditional Formatting - but this will color all dup's the same color.

    Another option would be this...
    A
    B
    C
    1
    12.62
    7562421
    7562421
    2
    12.62
    7562421
    7562421
    3
    9.4
    4452342
    4
    4.5
    545678
    5
    7.42
    345678
    6
    12.62
    567844
    7
    2.2
    567545
    8
    5.7
    4234543
    9
    4.6
    212345
    212345
    10
    77.5
    212345
    212345
    11
    4.2
    3456789

    C1=IF(COUNTIF($B$1:$B$11,B1)>1,B1,"")
    copied down
(I changed a value to test)
