    Conditional Formatting-Help

I have a huge worksheet displaying numbers to 2 decimal places. I would like to conditionally format those cells in a particular column that end in .00 . I could live with all cells ending in .00 being highlighted but am only interested in that one column. EXCEL 2007

    Re: Conditional Formatting-Help

Let's assume the range of interest is A1:A5.

    Select the range

    Conditional formatting

Use the "Use a formula..." option

    Use this formula:

    =INT(A1)=A1

    Apply the desired format

Thank you for that. My data actually started in row 4 in Column K so where you suggested A1, I used K4. The entire column was highlighted. No error message, it just didn't do anything.

Can you post a SMALL sample file and manually highlight the cells in question?

20 rows worth of data is plenty.

Column J is where I was hoping to have the .00 highlighted

    Re: Conditional Formatting-Help

Numbers don't necessarily "end in 2 decimal places = .00"

The values shown depend on the formatting in use in those cells.

The data starts in row of column J, which doesn't seem to match the description provided.

If you extend the number of decimal places, you see:

    Re: Conditional Formatting-Help

I removed a column from the sample (hence J instead of K) but I take your point .
    Thanks a lot.
