Hi all,
I have a complex question and cannot figure it out on my own, hopefully you guys have the holy grail
I have a data series with 6000 entries, these are all temperature values of a certain process
In an other sheet I have a list of manufactured rolls of paper with a certain length(For example)
temperature degrees vary from 35 to 40 degrees
And the manufactured rolls are lineair starting from 1 until 20. (1 Batch, Batch nr 2 is again 1 until 20 rolls)
Every roll of paper varies in its length and you also have scrap paper. (Quality reference.
Example temperature column:
35
37
39
40
36
37
36
39
40
35
Example paper rolls sheet:
1 65
2 60
3 55
4 62
5 63
6 30
7 45
I know that it would be possible to sum up the total value lengthmeters of the paper rolls, so for example 20 rolls with a total length of 1200 meter (20*¬60 each). And then take each roll's length and divide that by total amount of length *times the total amount of data points.
So for example roll 6 = 30 meters. 30/1200 * 6000 = 150. So roll nr 6 should be in 150 datapoints in the temperature sheet column.
Is there any way to do this?
Thanks in advance.
