    Help with making excel forumla(s)

    Hello there!

I have no idea if this is even possible with excel but here it goes:

I'm trying to make it so when you enter a products measurements it will tell you give the product name and manufacturer. (with multiple suggestions if possible)

E.g i type in 420x420 i want it to come up with who produces a product that size and the name of the product.

    Here's a picture of what i mean:

    Any help is greatly appriciated

Would this work? Click the drop down in cell B2 of sheet2. Select one of the options and cell C2 & D2 should show the correct info. It is based off of the list on Sheet1.

You don't have to add Rep if I have helped you out (but it would be nice), but please mark the thread as SOLVED if your issue is resolved.

Kind of but not exactly what im looking for, id like to so that when you type in the measurements e.g 100x200x300 it would show you the product(s) closest to those measurements. Is that even possible in excel?

I'm afraid I'm not sure how to go about getting closest matches.

It would be easier if you put the dimensions in separate columns.

Does "closest" mean "minimum size >= each required dimension", or something else?
