    Vlookup References (monthly changes)

    Hi,

Each month a create a table which shows the data result vs. budget, based on a combination of Vlookup formulas & simple cell reference formulas (e.g. = B25).

My issue is that each month the latest month's data is added to the raw data tab, and I have to manually update the Column index numbers to pick up the latest month's data. This takes some time due to the fact that I have multiple pivot / other tables of data. Is there a way for me to instruct excel to simply pick up the latest month's data without having to change the Column Index numbers?

    Hopefully this query makes sense.

    Thanks,
    Greg

It is hard to propose a solution without seeing a sample of what you are trying to achieve.
To attach a sample workbook click on the GO ADVANCED button below the Quick Reply window and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
Consider taking the time to add to the reputation of everybody that has taken the time to respond to your query.
