Code 128 font not readable by barcode scanner

I created a program which converts texts to code 128 using code 128 font, but when I printed it, it is not readable by my scanner, my research founds out that checksum... and other things but i don't understand it. Can anyone help me how to make the code 128 readable? Thank you very much

I think you are looking for the Char() function in Excel. If you type in a cell =Char(128) and press enter, it will show you the character that is represented by code 128.
