Thread: Change a positive number to negative number

I have a column of positive numbers that I need to change to negative numbers. Is there an easy way to do this? Right now I manualy make the change. Thank you, Pat

Try the following...

1) Enter -1 (minus one) in an empty cell

2) Select that cell

3) Edit > Copy

4) Select your column of positive numbers

5) Edit > Copy > Paste Special > Multiply > Ok

patowens, put -1 in an empty cell, copy that cell, select the numbers you
want to change, right click and paste special, check multiply, OK.
