    If Statement - Help Needed

    A1 B1 C1 D1
    A2 B2 C2 D2
    A3 B3 C3 D3

How can I do the following in A1, A2, A3:

If B1 AND B2 AND B3 are Blank the A1=YES.
IF B1 OR B2 OR B3 have any values then A1= NO

    Thanks!

In Cell A1, enter this formula:

    =if(and(B1="",B2="",B3=""),"YES","NO")

Modify as required if you need the same/similar conditions for A2 and A3.

    One way which might suffice:
    In A1: =IF(COUNTBLANK(B1:B3)=3,"Yes","No")
(I'm not sure what you want in A2 and A3)

Re: If Statement - Help Needed

    In A1:
    =if(counta(b1:b3)=0,"Yes","no")

would work if b1:B3 are really empty.

RE: If Statement - Help Needed

    Try this:
    A1: =IF(COUNTA(B1:B3),"No","Yes")

    Does that help?
