formulas issue, tried reading threads first but didnt work.

in row 2 starting at F-N i have a simple formula to just add previous column and tally it at the top of the next. I read through threads on here and tried to make sure all cells are formatted as NUM which they show in lower right corner for these cells. I also tried the text-to-columns. for some reason nothing is working. Any help?

What is the problem? Are you getting an error?

I just opened up the file, and the formulas seemed to be working. There is a total in each cell from F2:N2.

try changing or typing a number in a an empty cell. the number associated at the top will not update accordingly.

The problem is that you have your calculation set to Manual.

To correct this:
-Go to TOOLS in the Main Toolbar
-Select OPTIONS.
-Select the CALCULATION Tab
-Set Calculation to Manual

Now, your spreadsheet should be fine. Report back.
