I edit/manipulate reports in Excel from a Decision Support system (Trendstar CCA). I use FTP Pro to transfer the files from Trendstar to my PC, and then open the files in .prn format in Excel.

My issue: I recently received a new PC, and the formatting of my files has changed. The report formats are written in Trendstar to have line breaks between sections, and when I import into Excel I lose the line breaks. This means that I then manually have to restore the breaks so that the report can be published...

Is there a setting in Excel that I am missing - something that will not remove the line breaks? The strange thing is that I can run a Trendstar report and have someone else import using their Excel, and the breaks are there - this tells me it is a local setting in my PC, but I cannot find it and it is driving me crazy! Any help is greatly appreciated.
