    An Excel file is missing

    Hi there,

Hope somebody can give me a hand about this trouble.

I got an Excel file from a supplier which I've been use it for more than a year. (FYI: This file is protected with password.) Last week, suddenly I couldnt open this file. Message shows "File Error: File May Have Been Lost".

I tried to open this file through other computers via networking to my computer, there was no any problem at all. I deleted this file, and copy a same file from my backup (pen drive), and opened it in my pc, the same problem is occured, seem I couldnt open this file in my pc.

I scanned my pc using AVG anti-virus & AVG spyware, there is no any infected.

Can anyone tell me what happened? And what can I do to open this file without format my pc?

There is no such thing as a problem, only a temporary lack of a solution

In formulas, you might need to replace ; with , depending on your XL version

You could try opening it with one of the OpenOffice spreadsheet programs
    Hope that helps.
