Conditional formatting - is cell a date?

    Hi all,

I am trying to work out how to put conditional formatting on a cell so that if it is a date displayed as (02/04/2008) then the cell is white. (It can be any date as long as its displayed in that format).
If the cell is anything else it is displayed red.

    Cheers

    S

    Hi,

Try this in CF, Formula is

    =CELL("format", A2)="D1"

    Then set your formatting required

"D1" refers to the type of format the date is in.
