Thread: Move every 2nd cell to next column

Hi,

I'm using Excel 2003 and have say, approx 400 cells of data in column A with a header row in row 1 called Results. For example:

Balance Information for Account 89TY78
Last night's cleared: 4,362.44Cr Cleared: 4,362.44Cr
Balance Information for Account JKJ889
Last night's cleared: 4,362.44Cr Cleared: 4,362.44Cr
Balance Information for Account KLS567
Last night's cleared: 1,663.84Cr Cleared: 1,663.84Cr
Balance Information for Account MNT675S
Last night's cleared: 1,663.84Cr Cleared: 1,663.84Cr
Balance Information for Account OP786G
Last night's cleared: 1,663.84Cr Cleared: 1,663.84Cr
Balance Information for Account BNT567Q
Last night's cleared: 14,157.77Cr Cleared: 14,157.77Cr
Balance Information for Account MXZ45RT
Last night's cleared: 98.77Cr Cleared: 98.77Cr

The data is essentially an account reference in one cell, followed by the figure for that balance, and so on. I want to move the figure for that balance cell in to Column B in the cell adjacent to its account reference.
So the data will look something like this:

Results 21/04/2008
Balance Information for Account 89TY78 Last night's cleared: 4,362.44
Balance Information for Account JKJ889 Last night's cleared: 4,362.44
Balance Information for Account KLS567 Last night's cleared: 1,663.84
Balance Information for Account MNT675S Last night's cleared: 1,663.84
Balance Information for Account OP786G Last night's cleared: 1,663.84
Balance Information for Account BNT567Q Last night's cleared: 4,157.77
Balance Information for Account MXZ45RT Last night's cleared: 98.77Cr

Any assistance greatly appreciated as I will have to do this every week.
