How to Add a semicolon to the end of a field

I am running MS Excel 2007 on XP.
My project is to import emails into Excel from text, then add a semicolon at the end of each email.
The way i am doing it now, is to use the Global replace feature, but i have to do it for .com; .net; .org; .edu; .gov; etc....
I would like to do this in one sweep of the file.
How do i do this ?
    Thanks

    Invoke the Find/Replace dialogue

    Find what: .???
    Replace with: .???;

You may have to repeat with .?? and .??; if you have 2 letter extensions also...
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Thanks for your response but i am already doing it that way.
Is there a way to add a semicolon to the end of the text ?
At the moment i have to do the find replace for:
    .com
    .edu
    .gov
    .org
    .net
    .biz
    etc
    etc

    each time.

Not sure if you understood, but with my solution you literally use the question marks... it is a wildcard character... 3 ?'s means any 3 chars(e.g. com, gov, net, etc.) after the dot.

if you don't like this idea..then you can use a formula in an adjacent column... e.g. A1&";" copied down...

Then you can Copy|Paste Special >> Values over the original and then delete the formula column.

    Hiya NBVC,

Quick question of my own, I hope I'm not hijacking the thread. Just wondering, how do you use wildcard characters in actual formulas?

    Thanks alot
