Thread: [Solved] Advanced Excel formula question

Hello.
I'm new to this forum so I hope I posted in the right section.

I have a problem that I think is possible to solve with excel.

I have two sheets with lots of data.
I want a formula that searches in sheet 2 for a cell that contains the same data as a particular cell in sheet 1 and replaces the data in the following cell with the data in the following cell in sheet 2.

Example:

If A1 sheet 1 = B1 sheet 2
A2 sheet 1 is replaced with the data in B2 sheet 2.
