Hello, is there an easy way to append data to the end of a cell in 2007?
For instance, I need to add a text string to a list of names in a worksheet, such as Happy Holidays. This text should be added to an existing list of names.
Help!
If your list of names is in column A, then in B, you'd have to have the formula in B1dragged down as far as you need it.=A1&" Happy Holidays"
You can then copy and Paste Values back over the original cells and delete or clear column B. Does that work for you?There's no direct way to add the value to the original cells without using VBA.
