Thread: Problem with showing rows and columns in a Pivot Table

This is my first post here, because I've just found this wonderfull forum!

 

I have an excel spreadsheet with the following structure:

article ID       exp1         exp2      exp3         exp4         exp 5

1                   0.02         0.54       0.25          0.35          0.65

2                   1.02         0.84       0.65          0.15          0.95

3                   0.52         0.44       0.28          0.30          0.62

4                   0.20         0.35       0.18          0.45          0.85

...                  ...                ...         ...              
...           ...

 

i want to make a pivot data with the following structure:

article ID (as page filter)

exp1      sum of exp1 for the chosen articles

exp2      sum of exp2 for the chosen articles

exp3      sum of exp3 for the chosen articles

exp4      sum of exp4 for the chosen articles

exp5      sum of exp5 for the chosen articles

 

I can not get the exp1 - 5 in a column. In the best case I have them in a row 
but this is not comfortable for printing. Please help me

I am no pivot table expert but look at the example and see if it is what you are wanting. The easiest way to solve your problem was to use more than one pivot table to display your information on one page. Someone may have a better solution but I feel this will work.
