    Change made in one sheet to reflect in another sheet

    Attached is an excel file.

    How can link "Overall Plan" sheet to "Project 1" and "Project 2" so that changes made in "Overall Plan" sheet gets reflected in the Project sheets.

    So for example,

    If I change (make background green) the 'Current Plan' of 'Project 1' in "Overall Plan" sheet from Week 1-Week3 to Week1-Week4 (i.e. delay by one week) it should get reflected in Project 1 also.

    Basically 'Overall Plan" sheet is an exact mirror copy of Project 1 + Project 2.

    anyone??

    I think a better rewording of this question would have been - How can I link cells between two sheets so that value and color information gets updated on the second sheet (Project 1) when change is made in the first sheet (Overall_Plan)

    Sorry about that. Here is the link for the cross-post although the text and subject lines are different.

    I would make a macro that copies project 1 fields and project 2 fields into the overall worksheet. You could either run via a keyboard shortcut or even more ideally by the worksheet_activate event.

    Thanks for your reply. I tried creating a macro:
    0. Started macro
    1. Edit->Copy cells of Project 2
    2. Edit->Paste into Overall Plan.
    3. Stop the macro.

    Now I made change to some cells in Project 2. And then ran the recorded macro. It didn't do it.
