Hi all
Can somebody help?
I have an 2 excel formula in a worksheet.
1 that adds up 15 cells, and 1 that adds up about 30 cells.
On the first one, when I press F2 on my formula it highlights all the cells it is summing in different colours (so I know which ones it is picking up).
On my second one, it does not do this.
Is there a limit as to how many cells it will perform this on? As it is quite a helpful feature.
Thanks in advance

Are you sure those cell refs are in the same sheet as the formula? That's the only way you will see that feature work.

In Excel 2003 the limit is thirty cells, after that, the cells will be in the formula, but the nice colours won't display.
You can extend this by defining ranges instead of using individual cells.
