    2 column pivot table

While using pivot table to make data more understandable, i am facing a problem.
When i use 2 columns in pivot table, it makes them nested, as one becomes subcatagory to other. Whereas i want to compare them, not include one in other.
Is there a way to show columns along side instead of hirarchy?

Click the grey "Data" button that is automatically created and drag it over to the cell to the right of it. This should put everything side by side.

    Re: 2 column pivot table

Let me describe what i am trying to do->
i have a lot of data about some employees. There are some surveys that these employees have to respond to.
now i want to show the count of employees who have responded to each survey. so the column would have survey name and the number would show the number of employees who have responded.
but now when i add 2 columns (surveys) togather, they become nested instead of coming side by side.
i am using pivot tables as i need to filter the data as per the date of joining, post...etc
