I just reinstalled windows (XP) and Office 2003, SP3.
When entering text in a column and if it was larger than the current column, it used to just display into the next column unless there was data in that column. I liked it that way.
Now, it just displays a few letter from the end of the first word. How can I change this back as default?

Look in the format of the cell, see if Word Wrap is enabled. If so, uncheck it.

Yes, I finally realized that each one had word wrap marked. This data was exported from access using tools, office links, analyze data in excel.
I wonder if there is a way to change the default in which the data comes over.

Sounds like a question for the Access forum.
Meanwhile, if that takes care of this question, be sure to EDIT your original post (Go Advanced) and mark the PREFIX box [SOLVED]

I guess I should put a second "resoved" here, because I was trying to figure out how to mark a post as solved.
Thanks,
