Does anyone have a way to change columns of text entered in all caps to the initial capital letter and the rest of the text in small letters.
As in: JONES to Jones.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Use the function PROPER in column B
=PROPER(A1) and drag down

Another option is to use VBA if you don't want to have helpers though there really is no time to be saved - I just like the Evaluate method which has recently been shown to me:

Could use the formula provided by OldChippy in a helper column, then select that entire column, copy it, and when pasting, right click and choose "Paste special", then choose "Values". This will get rid of any formulas entirely, and leave you with the corrected version of the names.
=IF(AND(OR(BLONDE,BRUNETTE,REDHEAD),OR(MY PLACE,HER PLACE),ME),BOW-CHICKA-BOW-WOW,ANOTHER NIGHT ON THE INTERNET)
Alas, no VBA in this instance ... booh... generally speaking the Evaluate method is regarded as quicker than iterative approach though OldChippy displayed the error of my last code given formulae would be overwritten... adaptation:

THANK YOU ALL: or should I say, Thank You All.
This forum is the best Excel spot on the web.
Wish I had VBA. I think I could learn to use and appreciate it.
