    comparing a number and changing the results

    I am looking for some help on a formula that will do the following:

    a1 = 10

    if b1 is more than 10 the results are 10. If b1 is less than 10 the result is b1.

    Do you mean?

    =MIN(B1,10)
    Microsoft MVP - Excel
