My supervisor wants me to place a DUE DATE formula in my database.
So here's what i'm looking for
I will be entering a date (for example todays date I would input 06/24/09 in column H, and the output in column I will be 5 days from that date which would be 06/28/09) I would need a formula that once I input the date in column H the output would automatcaly be done for me in column I.
I have another column that I reply on when I get responces from my employee that I enter the date, is there away where column I will have a conditional formatting if nothing is enter in column M? So say for example. I assign a case file on 06/24/09 and input in column H, and I get a due date output in column I for 06/28/09, and if nothing is inputed in column M that meets that due date in column I that it will give me some type of color warning "condition formatting"?
Thank you![]()

Nope that didn't work. Any other advice?
Microsoft Excel 2000
CORRECTION: it did work, (for some reason or another, the H2 repeated itself, insted of the # of rows. So I did about 5 or 6 and group selected and drag down and now it works... Thanks

can you post a sample, as there is obviously something out of the ordinary with your dates!
