Hello all

I am trying to invert a simple 11x11 matrix. Sounds simple enough, but I get enormous values, most of which happen to be 2^46, which in itself seems odd, but I haven't figured out whether or not that may be relevant.

A similar 10x10 matrix makes no trouble, and neither do very small adjustments to the numbers in said 11x11. But the original, i.e. the correct and relevant 11x11 yields this obviously wrong result in both 2003 and 2007. In Google Docs, the problem also exists, yet with different - yet just as crazy - numbers.

I have attached the sheet. VBA solutions shall be welcome, though my knowledge is rather limited (Do loop and such).

Anyone good at matrix calculations?

Kindest regards

Unscharf
