Good morning,
I am new to this forum and I am wanting to learn new Excel skills.
I use Excel2007.
I research new motorcycles and have gathered a list of motorcycles. i have images to go with each motorcycle. What I want to do it to attach the image of a motorcycle with a line of data, i.e per motorcycle. I currently just paste an image on a line next to the motorcycle but I lose functionality, sorting etc.
Is there a way to add an image to a cell, like in a comment.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Chris
Welcome to the forum, Chris.
Shapes are not on the same layer as the cells, so getting that behavior can be finicky. If a picture is entirely within a cell, it will sort with the cell.
You can add pictures to comments if that would do what you want. You'd see the picture when you mouseover the cell. The comment will follow the cell through thick and thin.
