Hi,
I have multiple tabels in Word that I tried to copy and paste into Excel. The problem is: The cells in table that have Carriage Returns/new line feeds, when get copied into Excel, they are copied into multiple rows. e.g.
A word table cell that says:
The Following Vendors:
- vendor 1
- Vendor 2
The above gets copied in excel as three rows 1. The Following Vendors:; 2. - vendor 1; 3. - vendor 2.
This creates problem for sorting etc. How can I solve this problem. I could go cell by cell and paste it in the data entry space on the top (just below the toolbar), but that would take lot of time for huge table.
