Hi,
I need to calculate a 'Bonus Pool' number to be used to determine each employee's possible bonus. The attached worksheet highlights the cells in question.
Please have a look and help.
Bonus time, if any, is upon us.
Thanks

What's the correct answer and why? I can't see what you want calculated...

The template reads the revised budget numbers and then calculates the new net using the ratios established in the grid above. The increase amount over the current proposed budget (listed above) becomes the number to be fed into the bonus grid which contains each employees % of participation.
In G28...maybe this?
=(1+LOOKUP(F28,$F$5:$F$23,$E$5:$E$23))*F28
I asked you for the answer so I would know if I had the right logic in place...
I guess I've managed to make this too complex. All I really need to do is read the new NET income from the recalculated Budget (another worksheet) and use it to determine the excess over the original budget and then use that number as the bonus pool.
You've helped an older man to order his thoughts thanks.
Merry Christmas
