Thread: columns to rows

Hi guys,
I am new here, hopefully some one can help me with this problem,
I want to move some data from some columns to rows in Excel, how to do it?
this is my original data:
Data Name V1 V2
A N1 X1
A N2 X2
A N3 X3
A N4 X4
B M1 X5
B M2 X6
B M3 X7
B M4 X8

this is how I would like my data to be:
Data Name V1 V2 V3 V4 V5 V6 ...ext
A N1 X1 N2 X2 N3 X3 ...ext
B M1 X5 M2 X6 M3 X7 ...ext

Try Copy > Paste Special > Transpose.
