Hi all,
I created a pivot chart in excel 2003, saved it and everything looked perfect. Then I opened it in excel 2007, with compatibility mode enabled, made some changes like adding an image to the chart, a hyperlink, small things. I saved the chart and then opened it again is excel 2003. Now the chart has a dashed border which I cannot remove. I can make it white so it's not visible, but setting the Border radio button to None does not remove it. I found one other person complaining of this on a different forum, but there were no replies as to what the problem is or how to fix it.
Does anyone here know why an open->save->open cycle between 2007 and 2003 should create permanent borders? Any thoughts on how to get rid of it instead of just hiding it?
Thanks in advance!

Just an idea, have you opened the file in excel 2007 again to see if you can remove the border in that version of excel?
Do you have Office Service pack 2 installed?
Can you post example file, change the data if sensitive.
