    workbook to PDF problems

    Hello all

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I have read many threads about issues related to converting Excel to PDF but I still can't resolve my problem.

I have a set of accounts in an Excel workbook, 9 pages, which I need to convert to ONE PDF.

I have installed PrimoPDF (latest version).

As a test I created a simple workbook with 3 pages, clicked on "print", selected "Entire workbook" and chose the PrimoPDF printer. No problem. The result was one PDF document containing all 3 workbook pages.

However, when I try the same thing with the accounts, PrimoPDF doesn't put all pages into one PDF. I think it's trying to convert one page at a time which is no use to me. I don't want 9 separate PDFs.

I need all pages of the entire workbook in one PDF.

The print resolutions of all pages in the workbook are identical, I believe, so I can't think why this is happening.

Any ideas on why the accounts won't convert to a single PDF and how to fix this?

    Many thanks.

EDIT > Since posting this I have managed to convert other sets of multi-page accounts into PDF without trouble. It only seems to be this one set of accounts that's being awkward. Any thoughts as to why these accounts won't behave would be gratefully appreciated.

    Re: workbook to PDF problems

    Hi oddjob,

    welcome to the forum.

A pdf converter is basically just like a printer driver. So if there are problems with the output, they are most likely with the printer/PDF-tool, rather than with Excel.

Select your print areas and print-preview them. If you're happy with the preview, send them to the printer/PDF-tool. If the output does not match the preview, you'll need to seek support with the provider of the PDF-tool.
