Hi,

I have a formula that computes for a percentage. What i want is to format the cells where negative percentages should appear with parenthesis i.e.

from: -1.20%
to: (1.20%)

Just like the accounting format or its like combinng the percentage and accountancy format.

thanks

emanon,
Right click the cell/column that contains the percentage values you want to format, click custom and enter #,##0.0%;(#,##0.0%) into the text field (type). this should give you the result your looking for.

Let me know if this doesn't work for you.

thank you,
