does anyone know how to get excel charts to use either my source data or switch off calendar days, as I am selecting my dates on the x axis, but it defaults to calendar dates????

Can you give an example? I think the answer is custom formatting the x-axis.
How do "my dates" look like in comparison to calendar dates?

Hey,
in my source data table I have excluded weekends, but when i create the chart it includes the weekend dates? Under the format axis (number) it is ticked to linked to source data???

As inferred by Ricardo, try changing the Axis to Text
