I know this will come off as such a newbie question and i apologize but i'm just getting the hang of this whole excel thing lol...
How can i get this formula to work?
I am trying to calculate the total of A-H and add it to the total of I*J.SUMPRODUCT(--ISNUMBER(SEARCH("Yes",$A3:$H3)),SUMIF(Sheet4!$A$1:$A$8,$A$1:$H$1,Sheet4!$B$1:$B$8)+(--ISNUMBER(SEARCH("Yes",$I2:$J2)),SUMIF(Sheet4!$A$1:$A$8,$AA$1:$AB$1,Sheet4!$B$1:$B$8)*J2)+SUM($I:$J3)
Please see attachment.
Thank you,
Zanna

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.
To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.

You should try to describe what it is the formula is supposed to do for you... and then create a brief description of that problem for the title.

Yes, we plan on entering a figure only if we intend on taking them more than once.
Perhaps then:
copied down=SUMPRODUCT(--ISNUMBER(SEARCH("Yes",$A2:$H2)),SUMIF('Event - Value'!$A$1:$A$8,$A$1:$H$1,'Event - Value'!$B$1:$B$8))+SUM($A2:$H2)+IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("yes",$I2)),SUMIF('Event - Value'!$A$1:$A$8,$I$1,'Event - Value'!$B$1:$B$8)*IF($J2>0,$J2,1))
