Thread: Sumproduct combination

I know this will come off as such a newbie question and i apologize but i'm just getting the hang of this whole excel thing lol...

How can i get this formula to work?

SUMPRODUCT(--ISNUMBER(SEARCH("Yes",$A3:$H3)),SUMIF(Sheet4!$A$1:$A$8,$A$1:$H$1,Sheet4!$B$1:$B$8)+(--ISNUMBER(SEARCH("Yes",$I2:$J2)),SUMIF(Sheet4!$A$1:$A$8,$AA$1:$AB$1,Sheet4!$B$1:$B$8)*J2)+SUM($I:$J3)

I am trying to calculate the total of A-H and add it to the total of I*J.

You should try to describe what it is the formula is supposed to do for you... and then create a brief description of that problem for the title.

for the J column, will you be entering quantitites only if greater than 1?
