    Angry Filtering subtotals

Good morning everyone, I'm new here. Was hoping someone could help me out with this.

I am using Excel 2007. My data is about 26000 lines - basically just 2 columns of numbers sorted by a matching invoice number. When I turn on autofilter, it removes my subtotals. Is there a way to stop this from happening? I need to summarize the data based on certain factors (i.e. clears to zero, penny differences, large differences, etc...)

Thanks so much for the help.
