i want to change the data on my work's computer i have accessed it I am sure is connected to other computers perhaps HQ from the Excel site at my local office.

I have a question about this- My company may use ComplyXL or Synkronizer. And even if they do think about it. If there is a change in data the only reason anyone would realize it has been changed is if they can remember what the data was before and then use that software to check the changes. the people at HQ and Payroll where i suspect the computer i am looking at is connected to probably have so many people's info to look at and they are not going to notice the change. let's say someone does find out it has been changed and checks what it is well that doesn't mean i can be totally implicated and then fired as they won't be able proove who exactly changed it, there are no cameras and no one will know where i was exactly they can only suspect me. Also as i wrote before I will change data on a few people's files and this will make it even harder to suspect me for certain.

One more thing i basically copied over all the files from the school computer to a mini HDD then copied those including the excel files onto my home computer. Will these copied files on my home computer automatically access the internet and any changes i make on the ecel site on my home computer change the info on the other excel sites at my school and HQ automatically? Could my IP address then be traced?
