SUM won't come to anything but 0
I am doing a basic budgeting spreadsheet, and would like to see the sum of a series of cells. My equation is =B13+B18+B29+B38+B49+B54+B70+B76+B102. Many of these cells are populated with values other than zero, but the sum keeps coming up as $0. I've had a couple of notes come up about locking cells, and none of them are locked currently, so I'm wondering if that might be part of the problem. Any ideas? Thanks!
To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook.
If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what you are trying to achieve.
Doing this will ensure you get the result you need!
