Hi there,
Can anybody quickly tell me how to sum a column with numbers, given that that there are criteria to which the result should adhere to?
Simplified:
I only want to count the values of column A if Column B reads "James" and Column C read "2003".
Should be easy, but cant remember how to do it!
Thanks a million in advance!

Try
=Sumproduct(--($B$1:$B$100="James"),--($C$1:$C$100=2003),$A$1:$A$100)
adjust ranges to suit.
Note: If column C are actual dates formatted as YYYY
then
=Sumproduct(--($B$1:$B$100="James"),--(YEAR($C$1:$C$100)=2003),$A$1:$A$100)
