Hello everyone!
I'm trying to figure out how to lock the width and height of all cells in a worksheet. I have a lot of charts and graphs as well as lots of other data that is updated on a monthly basis. If the column width or row height is messed with, the worksheet gets all wonky and the charts spaz out.
I'd like to keep the document editable, but I need to keep the cells from changing in dimension. Anyone have the answer for me?
Hi Vaughahue, welcome to the forum.
You should be able to unlock any cells that you want users to be able to edit, but then protect the sheet so they can't change formatting.
Select the cells they should be able to edit, right-click and choose Format Cells. On the Protection tab un-check 'Locked' and click OK. Protect the sheet and they can enter data/formulas but not change any formatting.
Worked like a big load of pure, unadulterated awesomeness. Thanks!
